advice on tile size

Does anyone know how many tiles I would need for a 15 gallon long? I'm not good at measureing and figuring out math equations so I'd like to know what I need before I go to home depot or lowes.

it's probably 12" from front to back, so all you would need to do is measure it longways. i think someone said their 15 long took 2 tiles exactly (tiles are generally 12" x 12" so the length of the long part of your tank should be 24")

thanks! I dont have the tank yet thats why I couldn't measure it. thats awesome I wont need to cut tiles if I do go with the 15.

Get a tank first and measure the EXACT inside diameter. I know my 40 breeder was a little bit shorter than 18" wide and the silicone in the corners is also a factor. My local Lowes cuts tiles for you, so if your local one does to, no big deal to get them cut exact.
