AFT personality?

I have Leos, and I know that most of them have great personalities and are great with handling, but haven't seen much on the AFT temperment. How are they with being handled and all? Are they about the size of a Leo? I just love the brown and sometimes stripe on the AFT's, they're beautiful. Thank you!

i would say AFT are more laid back than leos they are happy to just sit and sleep in your hand they dont always wanna walk around

a reptile shop i use to work in had a "orange" AFT and i use to take it out when i was behind the till and it would just sit on my hand and sleep it was the cutest thing if my mum had let me have a rep intime i would have got it

generally, aft's are shy, lazy, and calm.

they like to hide, even more than leos. they are lazy, even when they do come out of their hide, they only climb around their cage when they are first exploring it. once they know their environment, they get very set in their ways, wich means mostly hiding.

and they are calm. i worked in a reptile store for a while, and i can tell you from personal experience, afts are the best lizards to get if you want to handle them.

of course there are diferances in personality, but id say generally thats a pretty good description of them in general.

some of the wild caught animals will get pretty hostile but usually If you get a captive bred they are totally chill
