So saw a photo of a Agama lizard, they are great looking! Found a care sheet as well and they seem pretty easy to care for (much like a beardie). Only thing im having trouble finding is a agama lizard!? Do people sell these, are they endangered, do you need permits? They have great color just would love to know some more info on them.

an agama lizard is a group of lizards, bearded dragons, frilled dragons, and other lizards belong to that group, like a leopard gecko or a house gecko belong to the gecko group, it depends on what kind it is, post pictures.

Yeah, there are 420 species spread across 52 genera in the taxonomic family Agamidae and they vary greatly in size, shape, and habit. There's no way for us to help you without a photo of the animal you're looking for.

When I worked at a chain pet store we had a pyramid agama once, so you don't need anything special to buy one. Have you tried looking on kingsnake.com?

Becareful. Agamas are considered cheap lizards . . .so a lot of people treat them as such.
