You can make an educated guess based on size but once they reach full size range it's generally pretty difficult to tell.

I'm wondering if Stan is really old he only eats like every 3or 4 days and then very little. He dosnt lose or gain weight and he won't hunt he only eats if the food is given to him or placed right in front of him.

Have you weighed him or are you judging his weight based on looks?
Where did you get him? Did they tell you how old he is? Can you share some photos of him?

Actually I'm wondering cause he acts really old. He eats 3-4 crickets every 3 days or so and moves really slow looking confused. And he dosnt hunt at all any more will only eat if the crick is put in front of his nose like he dosnt see it or something. I was wondering if he was blind but I don't think so. They told me he was only a little over a year.

Adult Leopard Geckos will not eat as much. I have a healthy Blizzard ( 3 years old) that only eats 3-4 crickets every 3 days. He is lazy, and will lay down and wait for the cricket to walk by.
What is his weight? Does he have a fat tail? No weight loss is a good sign.

It's probably a good idea to get a scale and keep an eye on his weight if you're concerned

So he's just a picky eater, huh? Just keep monitoring him and his food intake. I'm positive his health will get better under your care :)

I hope you are right he worries me. My other guy won't let me hold him but he runs to the front of the Viv when I go in the room like he is sooo happy to see me. He is really just hoping it's feeding time. He has become a really good little hunter.
