Aggressive behavior

I have a baby gecko I got about a week ago, and now that he's not so shy, he wanders around attacking me when I try to clean his cage. I've taken to guiding him away with one hand while I pick up the poop and refill his water with the other.

Any ideas how I can get him to like, or at least tolerate me?

Sometimes it just takes a little time with a bit of handling each day. We have a real young one that we are working to get hand tame right now. Good luck.

I have seen most of mine go thru that phase as well. They're all different as everyone knows, but out of all of mine 2 have been fine being handled and such without training. Others, not so much. But they have all pretty much calmed down thus far.

They usually out grow that behavior as they get older and get more comfortable with you having your hands in their tanks. I have 2 BB babies that are little attack rats when I put my hand in their tubs. They scream alot too, lol.
