i have 2 females and a male the females share a 30 gallon breeder but its divided down the middle and today i introduced the male and removed the divider. the bigger female bit at the male a little bit and i let it go cause it was just a little nip and thought it was a part of breeding. they ignored each other for a while and then she just started attacking both my male and other female if they walked past her hide. she has had contact with the female a few times and they have never fought but for some reason she did today. the male got some bad bite marks on him so i took out the aggressive female and left the male and other female in the 30. could you tell me if i did something wrong and what i should do now? o and if the male doesnt show much interest in breeding right away will he start to if i leave him in there for a few days? any advice would be great thanks.

If the female is not ovulating she is not ready to breed and will resist and bite the male.check her abdomen for a pink spot.it looks like the eraser at the end of a pencil. If shes not ovulating dont put the female in with the male.
