I just rescued a 2 1/2 year old leo from a friend who isn't very responsible. This girl isn't very nice. She bites people whenever people try to pick her up or whenever someone is watering her water bowl, etc. How should I "de-aggressify" her? Thanks :)

Let her get settled in her new home without trying to handle her. She perceives humans as giant predators who are trying to hurt her. Until she feels secure, this likely won't change. A soothing voice and plenty of food may help win her over, but it will take time.

Since a 2 1/2 year old should
be considered a strong jawed adult by now
and has had little or no association with the
previous owner.......
Get a pair of cloth gardening pruners gloves.
Spray a glove with water and do tank chores
+ slowly move it toward gecko on occasions.
Let it strike if it wants to.
If it hangs up on the glove, let it free ITSELF.
Don't move, or tug, it can do it.
A few of these daily for a short time will
have it on its way to calming down.
After some time of not trying to bite you,
it's time for a wet FIST with NO GLOVE.
It Works. Take care. HJ
I do the younger ones per video. (no glove)
