I have a small group of sunglows, one male and four females. When I put the male in their tank, the females run and if he approaches them and starts his breeding ritual they bite him and just try to get away. Is there a way to make this process less stressful on them all?

all of your females must not be ovulating (mine hasnt ovulated yet either).. everyone says just to be patient, it is hard, at least for me (i want little babies!!!) but they will ovulate probably.. how old are they and how much do they weigh?

one more question?

our females all have eggs that are already developing and they used to be housed with that male and everything was cool. I started seeing cuts and bites on our females and so we took him out, but now they are being very agressive and running, even if they just hear his tail going.

The females are probably already fertile from breeding, and have passed the point of reception from the male and have already started developing the eggs. Just give them time to devlope and lay, and you should have fertile eggs in a couple weeks.
