Today was my first ever Yankee game! The game was suppose to start at 7:05 but there was a damn near 2 hour rain delay, which lead to the game starting at 8:55pm! FINE! We were in section 128 Row 17, normally seats that run for $150-$125 a piece and we only paid $65! Even though none of the big names were playing (A.Rod, Tex., Jeter) I was happy enjoying the game while sitting in the cold with a little drizzle here and there but I wasn't going to let that stop me from enjoying the game. Well the game was pretty slow nothing too exciting and the fact that my boyfriend had a really bad cold, it was freezing (we only had some thin long sleeved shirts) and we had class in the AM we decided to leave during the 7th inning.
Anyway I get home take a shower then sit down to look up the score online I see that RIGHT after we left Robinson Cano hit a GRAND SLAM! HOW OFTEN DOES THAT HAPPEN!
ugh Just My Luck! I'm happy I went but I'm a little disappointed I wasn't able to see that LIVE!
