Air heat

On ground level of my tank, the heat is about 30-33 degrees Celcius. (About 90-95 in farenheit i think)
and cool end is low 20's. (s0 about room tempreture.)
BUT is it important, for the air higher up to be hot (ie. where the gecko isnt actually ever going to be) to get heat from other directions then their belly.
hope that made sense

take it yer using a heat mat!...

half the tank should be warm 90° F...the other cold 70° F...the Gecko will regulate its own body temperature by moving around...

My Hide is on the warm side with damp moss (not soakin' wet) on one side of the hide...helps when shedding

heat mat is 15mm below the Substrate...suggest using thermostat (zoo med good!) with a sensor probe which will control the heat mat temp! and give ye peace of mind:main_thumbsup: best luck

yep that is how my tank is set out. what i mean though is...does it matter if the tempreture ..say 6 inches in the air is room tempreture in the hot end, even though on ground level it is the right temp.

no issue with that...don't measure the air temp here...only ground!:main_thumbsup:

gecko's are hardy...and will self regulate to summer and winter air temps...if the gound temp is maintained

30-33*C is only 86-91.5*F; I think 91.5F is fine, but 86F might be a little too low for the warm end.
