Airbags?

I have no clue why but some of our geckos inflate air sacs in their armpits especially when they’re stressed. Our herp vet has no idea what could be causing this phenomena. Any ideas?! Is it something we should be concerned about?

These "air bags" are nothing you should really worry about. My female actually had them, but now they are gone. They are beleived to be excess reserves of calcium or protein. These "air bags" just appeared and disappeared over night.

Marcia can give you more information on this I believe. It can be a few things, I know she took a sample from a few of her gecko's fluid sacs and brought them to the vet to get analyzed. I think it was an excess of something.
