Albino x Carrottail cross?

Hi everyone. I am new here. Boy am I glad I found this website!! It's great.:main_thumbsup: I was just wondering what happens if you cross a carrottail with an Albino? I know that the offspring would be hets for Albino and appear normal, but would the carrottail come through? Does the orange in the carrottail come through on albinos?? Thanks everybody!

From what I know, no it wouldn't. Carrot tail is more of a chance kind of thing.

The offspring will be varying degrees of hypo carrot tail with some tangerine influences(all het albino)

It would come in better if both parents had some Carrot-tail

I was wondering if the carrottail was say above 50% does that improve the chances of carry over in the offspring? Does the orange in look as bright on a albino as it does on the regular carrottail?
