I was just wondering if you were to breed two unlike albino strains... for example rainwater X tremper...would the babies be double het for both strains? And if this is the case what would the probabal outcome be if the babies were bred back to eachother? 50% tremp and 50% rain? Or all normals? Please any help is appreciated, i am stumped...

Exactly why I asked this question...I know it is frowned upon but I could not figure out why. I basically was trying to figure out if in any way it would produce down the line just plain tremper....or rainwater. I am new to the genetics aspect but if I were to breed the double het back to one of the parents that I know is one type or the other the offspring would be only that type?? I dont plan on doing any of this and am nowhere near the breeding stage. I am just enjoying the leopard gecko world.. I have been reading ron trempers "the herpetoculture of leopard geckos" and that is where these questions derived from.

Please dont cross Strains it will make the market so difficult if somebody is selling Tremper X Rainwater Crosses as Pure Trempers or Rainwater X Bell Crosses as Pure Bells... :(

thank you all for your replys...i have no intention on breeding two different strains of albino together..i was just curious if there were any way to breed the double het back to something inorder to get an orginal albino tremper or rainwater or bell. I do understand the importance of not mixing the strains so im not looking for a lecture on why I should not do it. Just baisically if the damage can somehow be reversed!!!!!
