Albinos

ok i know theres been thread on this, but i still need some clafication

i have three albino and dont know which strain (yes i know being in uk chances are they are trempers and no way can they be rainwater)

i have been reading other threads to see if i can determine and they all say the same

- Tremper Albinos have brownish-tan markings, and have light colored eyes.
- Las Vegas (Rainwater) Albinos are usually the lightest colored with faded head patterns, and have the darker eyes.
- Bell Albinos have maroon colored markings with very pink eyes.

however this does not allow for tem based coloings.

my male is high yellow albino (in other words must have been incubated at a higher temp)

and two females
a Chocolate Albino (again the coloring is due to being incubated at lower temps)

and a hybino

so bearing all this in mind, how do you tell the diff? i suppose the only way is thorugh breeding (such as i bred my albino male and hybion femal and got normal babies, so they must be diff strains?) so to find out which is which, i would need a proven tremper and a proven bell to breed with them? is that they only way to tell, or can you still tell just by looking at them (even tho the general rules as quoted cant apply?)

Petal is the regi tail right?
When I saw them I thought first one is a Tremper (a good looking one^^).
The choco, well dunno much about chococolours as I like the lighter ones more and dislike the chocos but could be Tremper.

And Petal the last one I thought could be Las Vegas hybino. I would say as an Bell she would have darker marks and as Tremper we would have the problem that dady can´t b Tremper which he is(as I would say)

So I would say 2 Tremper and a Las Vegas.

And to the point with UK and just Tremper I heard that Hine had Bells at Hamm Expo too (dunno if he had also LV).

I think you are probably right. And there are plenty of both Bells and Rainwaters in the UK these days (although still nowhere near the number of Trempers).

but i was told that there are no rainwaters in the uk, and very few bells? because when i first tryed to find out, i noticed that her patterning on her head is more simlar to rainwaters than anything else (compared to pics i saw)

Nah, there are several breeders with Rainwaters in the UK, and even more with Bells.

I´ve to say I only know of Ray Hine which had a bunch of Bell Albinos in Hamm. Haven´t seen his booth according to the extreme number of ppl at the Expo (somehow after 30 minutes I decied "Pick-up" and run^^).

But I know he had Bells and Trempers (Anne Veng told me the thing with the Bells as she got 2 from him). I dunno about LV Albinos but I would realy say your regenerated tail Gecko is a Rainwater as Bells have darker marks and the male is a Tremper (would bet on it^^).

Where have you bought your Geckos and could you make a big photo of the Tremper male? I Realy love the lighter Trempers and enjoy seeing big pics of them^^.

alas it wouldnt, i brought puck and petal of someone from a forum, she didnt really know what morphs they were at all

and akasha from a pet shop who knew nothing whatsoever about morphs lol
