Albinos

I just read that someone on this site has 2 albino leo girls. They said that you have to hold a cricket down or place a mealworm right in front of them fro them to be able to see it well enough. Has anyone heard of albinos having bad eyesight before?

Some of our albinos are a little more light sensitive, but don't have any trouble eating. One thing we did experience was with overhead lights in tanks. We would turn down the lights, and they were better able to hunt. I don't know if that was because they were able to see better, or if they were just more comfortable coming out in the dim light. Now they are all in racks, and no worries.

Yea when i get my albino im just gunna have a heat pad so there will be no problems with that

1 of my albino males is blind, he hunts ok i suspect he has some sort of vision but is is really poor.

do you know if he was just born with it or if it was an accident somehow? is it related to him bbeing albino?
