Ok so we got Dio about a week and a half ago and we just noticed he has a few spots on him! We checked the pic from when we brought him home and the spots where there just really small and we didn't noticed them when we bought him! His temp it keep at 75-85 degrees and his humidity is keep in the 90s! The person we got him from said he had been eating every 3 to 4 days and he has eaten twice since we have had him! Please let me know what this looks like and if its anything serious! thanks!

I don't know anything about GTP's but it doesn't look like it is anything viral or parasitic. I know that they do go through some serious color change and I'm sure it probably affects the spotting too. Sorry I can't help. I wish you the best of luck with him!

That does look like some sort of wound, maybe. I'd take him to the vet- see if they can do cytology on that, see if it's something infectious or what.

We took her to the vet yesterday and it was just her begining to shed! But she did have some parasites so its lucky we took her!

not that your vet is wrong, but i just dont trust vets when it comes to reptiles. just to give my 2 cents. it looks like a scar. depending on where you got it from it could be a burn, it could have had a tick and was removed. but chances are after the snake sheds you will probably still see some sort of mark. on the other hand it might just be shed. time will see. eather way, i do agree that you have nothing to worry about

Thanks for the input nevin! She has already shed and the mark is still there it just looks alot less serious now. I think it looked bad b/c she was about to shed. The vet said one of her spots on her body looked like an old wound healing so you are probably right about it being a scar. Not sure if she was fed live food or not before we got her. Thanks everyone for your input!
