Allow me to introduce ... two real Calico's !?

Hi there,

Today I want to introduce two very special ladies! I couldn't believe it when I first saw these beautiful geckos.
Both come from private owners and i think they probably had no idea what special geckos they have sitting there.

Caliente is about 6 years old and I got her even for free! She had parasites and internal inflammations when i got her.
Moreover, Cali had rickets, because of this her bones are deformed. But with the help of my vet we get her fit!
The treatment took a looong time, but it was worth it - Now she is fully recovered! Almost.
Because she unfortunately has a tumor. This was removed in an operation, but he is likely to recur.
Therefore, we can't say how long she's still alive... Despite all the problems, she eats well and lays eggs.
This year she layed two eggs and next year it goes on.



The other lady I have only one week. But she seems healthy and fit. Her color looks really interesting to me.

I hope the white spots are inheritable!!!

By the poor condition they were in I would not be so sure those are white pigment spots. I've seen geckos with scars from damaged skin from heat lamps and lights look very similar to those. And with there health issues I would not stress them any further by breeding.
