What brand of aluminum tape do you all recommend as far as using it to tape down 4" flexwatt heat tape in a hatchling rack? I went to Home Depot today (where they were of NO help whatsoever) and saw that one had info stating that it was useful in temperatures as high as 250F, but it was $22 while another was $8. The cheaper one had nothing about temperatures, so I was wondering if it would even withstand the heat tape? Just said "Foil tape", the dimensions, and "Made in USA" lol.

The tape I use is made by Shurtape and it is called AF100 Foil tape. I use it alot at work (HVAC). I have used it for years on all my racks and it works great. I assume most any true foil tape will work fine because you should not be dealing with temps higher than 95-100 degrees on the actual heat tape itself. (most brands of heat tape that I have used don't recommend heating them over 95 degrees anyways)
Also this tape is made in Hickory, NC (if that matters)

When I bought aluminum tape at HomeDepo I bought the cheaper one. But this was 2 years ago. It worked fine on my gecko's tank and my beardie's tank. I would assume the metal will be fine in high temps, what might not be fine is the glue from the tape. If it has the company's name on it or if HomeDepo can provide it, you could call the company and ask.
