Am I alone?

Doing research on all the different morphs and color combos. A lot of them look nice and some look ... not so nice.

But after a few weeks I still like the basic wild type white belly, yellow body with black spots. Anyone else like those the best?

I like normals, they were the first geckos I got, and what got me into this hobby. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but they were the first so they're special to me.

Afghans are beautiful and in my experience the most docile. However, they're a subspecies, unlike normals which are a combination of all the subspecies that were originally imported into the US. Back in the day some breeders used to keep pure lines of normal. Presently, normals are mostly sold at petshops and carry all kinds of hets.

Glad I'm not alone on that subject. I'm hoping to get a "normal" but I want to wait till my newest grow up a little.

I love High Yellows but actual full-on Normals look kind of dirty to me. :/ My first Leo was and is a HY and I think she's gorgeous.
