Am I doing this right (gutloading)

I feel like a dummy lol

I have searched and also asked and haven't found what I need to know

So I took all the mealies out of their tub. I got a glass baking dish (like for brownies) and put them all in there so they can't climb out

I added alot of carrot chunks and dry oatmeal

Is that ok? Will they eat the oatmeal? I read somewhere on here you can feed them that

Also...for how long do I let them eat and get water from the carrots?

Can I just leave them on the counter at room temp while they eat?

Anything else I need to do/know?

Sorry for all the dumb questions...I was just always confused about gutloading :main_rolleyes: lol

i put mealworms in 2 inc of this with vegetables and birds cuttlebones..
you can use also fish flakes food for feed your mealies but with the pro - gutload i'm really saticsfate...

Lyndsey, what your doing is ok, but I would also recommend Cody's gutload from the link Marula gave you. I generally keep them at room temp to eat for 4-5 hours when I first get them. I take them out once a week for an hour or two to warm up and eat some more. That should be everything...
