my baby gecko just went though a shed last night, and when i was feeding her and misting her hide today her tail looks like it might fall off. the pictures don't exactly show what i see, but i got the best shots i could.

can a geckos tail fall off if she was biting her shed and she bit her tail? and would it take a while for it to fall off? i know they usually fall off right away but i've seen cases where they took awhile.

i might just be extremely paranoid, but i swear this wasn't here last night:

again, it looks way more pronounced in real life.

I think from the pictures you have shone you might be experiencing some carrot tail coloring coming in lower in the tail.:)

yeah, i was wondering if that was just part of her carrot tail...the breeder i got her from said most of his CT's were 60% if not more...so i think i AM being paranoid but i just wanted to be completely sure haha

Yeah, hatchlings change with every shed! If they don't look like their growing, look at a picture of when you got them, it's an awesome change.

I know! I've been trying to find a picture of the day we got Shakers to compare it with today.
