amel fatty troubles

i bought this fatty more than 6 months ago, and i have yet to see any growth in him, about the same time i got him i also bought 2 leos, and there already breaking the 20g mark but he is still at 7g. little guy is worring me as he is my first fat tail.

Well i guess i'll be the first to jump in on this. What are we looking at as far as environment?

Is he being kept in a humid enough environment? He has stuck shed on his toes and it looks like he has an underbite, so he appears to have multiple problems going on at once. Is he eating often and in sufficient quantity? Is his hot side hot enough? Is he getting supplemented vitamins and minerals?

will be swapping the hide for a humid hide, and switch to heptivite yesterday, and ill be feeding him later today

How much is he eating and how often?

What size prey items?

That might seem like a dumb question but it could lead to a very simple answer.

I was feeding every other day but with this one I started feeding daily and he was eating 1/2 inch because it was all I could find, but then started feeding 1/8-1/4inch not to long ago was dusting with reptivite, but switched to heptivite and had a dish of reptical that he payed no mind to

Should be able to eat the 1/2. I start mine on 1/2s.

and he eats the 1/2 but only like 2-3 his aim is still a bit off

If he eats 3 1/2's 3x per week and is not growing. You need to collect some fresh droppings take them to a vets office. Have a float test and microscope. It should cost between $10-20. Then you'll know if it's a parasite problem.

He might be a slow grower. You can feed the crix from forceps that will help his aim.

Everything else sounds good.

nah, the temp is good. a lil higher wouldnt hurt, but 86 is ok.

under bite isnt a good thing, but really shouldnt affect his growth unless he has a hard time eating.

or maybe the under bite is caused because he has a broken jaw, which could be really bad.

but most likely the underbite is no big deal. but there is no way to tell over the internet.

he could have parasites. also, the fact that he is regrowing his tail isnt a good sign. do you know how he lost it?
