I've been inspired by some of the very creative folks on here with their terrarium designs, and I'll admit, I'm very jealous. I have a 10-gallon for little Rex, and right now, it's pretty full. Unfortunately, I don't have the room to expand his plan, but I was thinking...
The aquarium I have is a lot taller than it is deep, and while I can't expand to the sides, I could turn the aquarium on it's side, move the UTH, and use the current top side as the front to give him (and admittedly, myself) a lot more room to make an A+ home for the little guy.
What I need is a glass or see-thru top that would have a sliding door or a hinge that would allow me to get in there to feed and clean him. I haven't seen anything at the pet stores, or online, that would work yet. Does anyone have a set up like this, or a resource where I could find/build something that would suit my needs?
