SHTCTB X hypo 66% het albino ?
The babies should all be tangerines, some with more hypomelanism than others, some with carroting on the tail, and there will be a small percentage that are het for albino.

You will only get het hybinos if the hypo is actually het for albino. If not, obviously you won't.

See that's why I'm still confused. I thought if you paired
albino x hypo het albino you got either
albino
hypo het albino
hybino

so where does the het hybino come in?

Hybino = Hypo Albino and Super Hybino = Super Hypo Albino, but you don't see the term used very much. Since they hypo part is line bred you could start by breeding a Super Hypo het Albino male to an Albino female, incubate all the eggs for female and then breed them back to the father. Of course that isn't the only way to do it...

A het Hybino is a Hypo het Albino...

Hope you can make sence of this het hybino would be the hypo het albino but possible het hybino would be a better term as like the het raptor, het stripe, het jungle, they are not true hets as such but the breeding ancestry the offspring hold all the key genes for you to be able to pull it off again when bred to the right breeding mate. That why it's possible to get a jungle phase offspring from two normal looking leo that have jungle ancestry.

420 that's what I was thinking, I just never heard of the hypo het albino referred to as a het hybino.
randy, I believe there are people who refer to sunglows and hybinos as the same thing regardless of albino strain. There is a whole thread on here somewhere about the term sunglow relating to the albino strain it origionated from.

They are all the same being the result of hypo X albino but are just differant names by diffant lines/creators.

Ray Hines named them (Hybino).
The Urban gecko named them (Sunglow).
A&M Gecko named them (Hyglo)

I'm pretty sure that's it ? can anyone second that or correct if needed.

so now back to the beginning, whats the possibility of hatching a sunglow 12% ??

In the beginning sunglow's in that breeding NON you get possible het albino.Coz you don't know what offspring have the albino gene.Example;

SHTCTB X Hypo poss het 66% Albino = hypo's/tangerine's/ect poss het's.I beleave a small percent 25% will be het albino.

How can you say that, when you don't know whether the hypo is het albino or not? You will either get (approximately) 50% het albino (there is a 67% chance this well happen), or 0% het albino (there is a 33% chance of this).

Yes sorry i should have left the percent part out of it.So it's just possible hets.As you don't know whether the albino gene there or not.
