Ok I can finally breathe. She (and I'm going to call her she until I know otherwise) started eating last night. I was getting worried since she really hadn't moved since Friday or eaten anything. Yesterday I held a spoon full of her food up to where she made a nest and after a min she gobbled it all up. Then I left her alone and after an hour she started exploring her cage. I got up this morning and her food dish is half empty. Wahoo, I can breathe.

How long to you recommend letting her acclimate before I handle her? Some say 5 days, some say 2 weeks, what do you think?

I'd say a week is good, then start handling for short periods of time, gradually increasing the amount of time she is out.

Updating for fun...
Sticky is doing great, growing although I need to start tracking her growth charts like I do with my torts. She fired up for me for the first time yesterday to a pretty reddish-brown color when she is normally very creamy in color. Unfortunately my camera was no where near. photo 2.JPG
