So I had my season all planned out. I knew who was going to mate with whom, when I would introduce the male/female pairs, when to expect eggs and so forth. Then half of my breed stock females start producing eggs on their own accord...before mating....blast. But it has worked out so far :) Can't complain too much, got a good half full incubator of eggs, the first to hatch out on valentines day [insert cheesy aww's]. But of course the females are no where near done, still producing. And to think I was complaining about a slow season last year...gahh. So am I the only one this happens to or is this a common occurrence...stubborn leo reproductive systems.

I did. As soon as I notice they are producing eggs I put them with a male. No need to waste eggs right. It's worked out nicely but just humorous how it all went far from how it was planned.
