Anole Question?

How Long Can Anole Survive without UVB. Im only asking because i have a friend who own Anole. He Wasnt on UVB For like 1 or 2 year. He did not have problem. He is stilll Eating. Weird? :O

Actually he has 10 gallon with Heat light. But Do you have idea how long anole would survive without UVB?

well, its not really like food or water, so they really dont need it to survive, but they will live a much longer healthier life with uvb. if it has it now it will probably live, as long as it didn't develop any calcium disorders.

Eventually the anole will injure itself while being an anole. Lack of UVB weakens the skeleton and one day it will jump and something will snap. Once injuries begin occuring the anole is often too far gone to save

My group of anoles are 7ish years old now, UVB really makes a big deal for their longevity. Your friend needs to hook up UVB for it, if he hasn't already.

Really? That 's strange best they said it can have diease of without UVB. And Yes it's Green.

I Agree wiith you, He refused to listern to me that he needs UVB For Anole Oh well.
