Another possible outcome question.

I've only bred normals.. and I'm really trying to understand the genetics of morphs and outcomes. This is my breeding group for next year.

Male:
(super?)HTCT... unsure of any hets because he was randomly given to me and turned out rather nice.
When he was young he looked way different though.

(he had a bath right after for the toe shed, so no worries..)

Female: (Ruby, crappy pic, sorry.. I haven't had her long!!)
T.U.G bred Sunglow

Female: (Vera)
Hypo tangerine carrot tail? Or just tangerine carrot tail. She's het 50% tremper albino.

She shed the next day and ended up more vivid. She's sort of odd looking isn't she? :p

Female (Clementine.)
Tangerine tornado, not from T.U.G but from T.U.G stock, so sort of 2nd generation.

Older photo, she's got more carrot tail now. :)

So what do you think I'd get out of this group? I didn't post the images because you may not need them and I figured I'd save loading time, but they're there if anyone wants to see.

Thanks a ton, guys.

HTCT x Sunglow= Tangerines of varied degrees that are Heterozygous for Tremper Albino

HTCT x HTCT 50% Possible Het Tremper= Same answer as above except the offspring only have a 25% Chance of being Heterozygous for Tremper Albino.

HTCT x SHTCTB(Tang Tornado)= Same answer as above without carrying the Tremper Albino Gene.

Thanks so much ! I figured it was something like that. Just tangs of varied degrees of colour with het for albino. Could any of the babies themselves be albino?

I'm hoping that that odd looking tang throws some equally odd looking babes. I got the sunglow for variety.. so that in the future I can breed it to some other things, I couldn't pass her up. (I want snows next..lol)

If your male proved out to be Heterozygous for Tremper Albino, then you could produce Sunglows potentially.

Yea.. no idea there, I guess there's always that chance.

One day I'll get another male to produce sunglows and hopefully phantoms one day, too, with.

This male...He was randomly given to me.. I was at a pet store..and this guy came up to me because I was looking at the geckos for sale..and asked if I wanted a free male.... I said sure.. after some thought, worse comes to worse, I find it another home.. and when he showed up with Ralph..I was stoked, even though he almost looked like a snow at the time. :main_huh: His before and after pics are so different.

When I spoke to Craig Stewart last weekend from TUG I can't remember if he said that the sunglow I bought (at a reptile show, from him.) plus a HTCT male would create just het albino or actual albino.
