another question on temps

If my lows are in the low to mid 50's and I'm shipping to a place where the high is in the low-mid 80's, would I be okay to ship without a heat/cold pack? I assume that the boxes would leave Chicago before we hit that low and they would arrive before the high temp the next day.

Is that what you would do and why?

Thanks!

I would not use either a heat or cold pack. It's important to try and check the overnight lows at whatever shipping hub they will be going through, if possible. Also, remember that most shipments are delivered before 10:30 AM and morning temps are cooler than the predicted highs.

That's what I figured.:) I checked a few days ago and the hub where they're going first has the same lows as me. Maybe a bit higher.

Thanks!
