I am sorry too. I don't mean to sound like a newb but how do you know when an egg dies? Do you mean the stop of movement when you candle? Or does is mold or rot in some way?? I have one that candled a light pink, one month in the inc. it went half yellow half pinkish and then very moldy.. I know that wont hatch and I am debating on whether I want to see whats inside or not...

Sorry to hear that. I have had a few green goblins (moldy eggs) this year myself. I'm waiting for one wrinkled egg to go green right now.

It was fertile when I candled in the begining and then turned yellow.
