1. Why do geckos shed?

2. Is it because they are growing?

3. Is shedding a sign of good health?

4. Is it really ok for them to eat the shed?

5. Should I help my gecko shed?

6. What method do I use to help with shedding?

means that the gecko is growing. juveniles shed often because they are gaining weight fast. my 6 month old sunglow is at 78-79g and shed twice in 3 weeks. You can help the gecko at the toes area if you notice any unshed skin. They eat the skin because it is rich in calcium and really boost their calcium. Make sure there is enough moisture in the enclosure to make skin sheding easier for the gecko. hope that helps...
