the Terro Ant Killer uses borax (sodium tetraborate decahydrate) to kill ants, it is not particularly dangerous to people or pets as one use is as a food additive.

the stuff works great, tho it takes some time for the ants to take it back to the colony where they feed it to the babies... end result is the whole colony is killed.

good luck!
ant infestations are the worst!

Did the ants kill your geckos, or your crickets? I had a lot of trouble with ants eating my feeders years ago, but I've never had a problem with them going for geckos.

What I do to keep ants away from my feeders is put a line of vaseline about two inches thick around the outside of the crickets container. You could try the same around your geckos cage.

She Dont Use Jelly...

...She only uses vaseline! Flaming Lips Rock! Vaseline sucks to use on or near anything to be used as food. An easier more effective method is to take some coffeee cans fill them with water and put the legs of the tables in them and put the bins on top of the table.

I don't understand this.

How are ants getting into the enclosure?
Is it because you are not keeping a lid on them???

I don't want ants in with my roaches, but I keep a lid on the container.
Do I have to worry?
