i am totally new to leopards! after learning boa constrictor, retic, ball python, and corn snake morphs and what combos get what....it looks like i am starting over. is there any good up to date leopard gecko genetics books? i have aquired some very nice(in my opinion) leopards from the urban gecko, but only know what a couple of the breedings will produce...any help would be awesome! thank you all...

yeah i have been keeping reptiles for over 23 years. and i have bred animals alot of people couldnt even keep alive, so im pretty sure i can handle breeding leopards ;) ...but thanks for your concearn. i have bred cresteds for two years and some monitors, and im sure leos are no more difficult. i bred green tree pyhtons when i was seventeen, alot of people could not even get them to eat at that time. i have worked with seventeen species of venomous and other very difficult types of reptiles, i can handle breeding leopards.

Wow, I didn't know you had that much experience! Leos will be a piece of cake for you.

lol. yeah, i have a "couple years" experience...i want to work with something "easy" for a change. i still have a ton to learn though! especially what all the genetics are just by looking at a certain specimen. i am a rookie as far as leos go, but i am like a kid with his first reptile...im really excited, but now im gonna have to wait a bit longer than i though, but ill get 'em! i just have to get my boas from the urban boa first because craig already got my CITES papers for the boas, and the gecko paperwork will probably take a few more weeks to get to him. i was supposed to get my boas shipped to me on the 28th of last month(april)! but craigs hands were tied because he has to wait on the paperwork before he exports them from canada to me here in ohio...so i am not upset at craig at all! he is a great guy with amazing animals! and him and paul are absolutely super cool to deal with and talk to! i will continue to do business with him in the future. so i will have some of his boas, leopard geckos, and i want to get a few fat tails as well!
