This year my goal is to keep my leo's healthy and ready to breed (this has been the case every year) I've gotten all excited every year and had vermiculite in a container ready to put eggs in, but I don't have an incubator. So I have been putting the container on a heating pad with only basic heat control. Does anyone have any tips on building one because i dont have a lot of money and if you do I love pictures.

This is what I used...

I'm currently using the heat-mat with thermostat, not the aquarium heater (though I'm sure that works as well). I love it so far. Temps fluctuate a bit, but just between 83-84F...and of course the thermostat quality can make a difference. It stays humid, 4 of my 6 eggs are doing well (though I doubt that the problems with the 2 eggs have anything to do with the incubator...).
I actually got the styrofoam box from a veterinary hospital that I volunteered for. They were going to throw it out anyways.

I actually have the sticky side taken off with goo-gone. I hate sticking it to things only to have to peel it off (and possibly ruin it) for another tank (or incubator in this case).
