ANY way to stop breeding

One of my Female geckos has had roughly 6 clutches so far. But I'm beginning to notice an extreme loss in weight after the last clutch. Is there anyway to stop her from producing.

I've heard some others say that separating her from the male and reducing temperatures for a week or two may help. I haven't had experience doing this myself so I don't know what temperatures or how long. There was a thread on this with more info a few weeks ago. I think Aliza was the one that provided some good info there.
