is there anyway to tell apart a female darkling beetle from a male darkling beetle?

I think its really hard to tell. I Just keep them all together and they do the rest.

i was told one sex will be slightly larger than the other... but i really cant see the difference and we gots baby mealies so something is right

Males usually have a slit at the very end where the wings come together the females don`t have this.
