Everytime i go into like Petsmart. I look at the lizards and stuff... im allways asking to see the leopard gecko's and if hold them but usually i dont got money buy them... but i allways want buy like all the ones they got just becuz.. sometimes i think its sad that they have sit there in the cages with 100 of people walk by them each day and no one buys them. but only looks at them... they come glass licking thinking this person take me home but then they dont... i allways wished i had enouhg cages to bring them all home but as it is i have 4 three in my closet and a new one i got from my girlfriends cousin for free it used be snake cage i put my baby leopards int here cuz it heats up with this bulb and has lights in there...

i think if i had enough cages i would own every leopard gecko i see at petsmart i wonder if they can give u a Deal for buying all them lol


also i ahve question for anyone that know the House gecko's are these geckos good for holding or anything? i like how they got rainforest setup and put like tons different ones in with them... but not sure on what type setup i would need for them... i was thinking getting them with the cage i got left cuz all the ones int here like no more then 10$

Yes id like to buy them all too but i cant. And i heard house geckos are virtually impossible to hold, thats why i didnt get one and went with a leopard gecko way back when.

yea i just read that on a page.. i like the inviorment how it looks i may get them tho lol there like 5$ haha. at my local petsmart they only have like two albino leopard gecko's for like 49.99 and then another leopard gecko starts with a L for 69.99 then theres another petsmart my gf telling me they got male leopard gecko or 44$ and another one missing eye for 80 but will take 30 for it lol..

i go to petsmart or petco at least twice a week just to look at them and wish i could bring them all home....i actually just got a job at petsmart so its going to be even worse now cause ill be by them all day

lol my girlfriends trying get job for the reptile clerk/cashier position were so buddy/buddy with the workers there we come in and they know us by name.

That is 100% against store policy....

They should ADOPT that gecko to you.

Also, as an update, the oldest baby in my store is now 16 grams! Wee!

We got probably about 12 or so in (at varying times) all of which came in very tiny. No deaths. All gaining weight. I do, however, still have three I'm not satisfied with weight wise that are still being cared for intensely before they are available for customers.

If you do get a job as a "pet specialist" I do advise that you share all your leopard gecko (or any pet for that matter) with customers. Sometimes you are the last research they will EVER do. Tell everyone about this site, it can't hurt. Also, make sure you provide good care for all leopards. Everyone is on reptile carpet (except the babies gaining weight, which are on paper towels). Leave a bowl of mealies, make a humid hide, leave out calcium. etc etc.

Good luck and don't let anyone stop you from providing the best care possible for all the animals.
