Anyone have a mirror in their tank?

Herman stares out the window in morning. It's cute. He'll also stare into the worthless temperature dial I have near the floor. He can see himself in it.

Anyone ever get a mirror? Will he attack it?

No, he doesn't get direct sunlight. It rights to the right of the window and goes the opposite direction.

For alot of reptiles, reflections are a bad thing.
They can think there is another animal in there with them
and it can cause quite alot of stress.
This is why pro cages do not have reflective surfaces (or
they are greatly minimized).
I believe alot of the "unusual" behavior seen in single housed
leos is actually attributed to reflections.
They can feel "intimidated" or otherwise stressed by that gecko
they see in the glass.
I have one leo where it's a real problem, and I will have to cover
the walls on the inside. The other 2, not much of a problem.

No Mirrors

I do not have any mirrors but, the sides of the tanks do reflect.

Come feeding time, my Geckos will stare into the corners of the tank and track what they think is a moving food item.

I noticed one Gecko following the movement of my pants, back and forth, until she saw the cricket on the floor in front of her.
