Anyway to make this cave less slippery?

Maybe take a razor to it and make grooves. Or even sandpaper might work. I would worry about the spray paint even though krylon spray paint is all nox toxic when dry. When I used krylon is smelled for weeks even after it is aired out. I would bet its fine but I am just a worry wart.

I almost got the same exact thing from another chain store. Thanks for the heads up of it being slippery. Let me know what works for you.

I would've just got a brach or something. That seems more real.

Try some griptape for a skakeboard, Get Clear and you will still have the color of the cave come through. Be careful though some gripetape has super sharp surface's , just rub your hand across it to feel the texture you will know. If it's really sharp just rub it against a sidewalk/driveway to dull it down untill it feels ok to the touch as not to be sharp anymore. Plus there is a Rainbow of colors of Griptape to use as well if you really want to get crazy.
