Some like the eclipse gene, some don't ;) The better of the two is the morph YOU like better.

Also remember that not all RAPTORs and APTORs are created equal. Some are just.. oh it's a raptor and others are OMG THAT'S a RAPTOR ;) Sort of like BMW makes 32k cars and $100k cars..... all are BMW, but the 328i is no contest to the M6 ;)

i dont think that would quite work...you'd be mixing a bell albino with a morph with tremper albino in it but ill leave that one for paul or somebody else whos better with genetics

Well, if you were to breed a bell to and aptor/ raptor and got a albino animal....... either mom or dad was a non pure albino(as in aptor het bell or bell het tremper)

Mixing the albino genes is a bad idea because you then can't know what you have and they become impure geneticly for breeding.

An APTOR/RAPTOR is a Tremper albino. The Bell is a separate genetic albino morph. The two strains of albino are not genetically compatible, and will not produce albinos when crossed. If you did cross a Tremper with a Bell, all the babies would be normals, but some would be double-hets, some would be Bell hets, and some would be Tremper hets... and you wouldn't be able to tell which ones carried which genes.

Actually all would be double het, but the offspring from those double hets crossed would be as stated and some would even be albinos. Knowing which strain of albino would be hard in some cases (especial if they were homozygous for both strains) and you wouldn't know if they were heterozygous for either strain also ;)

That in itself is a nightmare outside the "pet only" gecko realm.
