Are Mack snows prone to devolope armpit bags?

I have a young Mack snow Bell, I don't remember her age exactly right now but she is about 7 or 8 months. I usually give the non-adults as much food as they want and a little extra calcium and vitamines as they consume most of it in growing up, and none of them have bags but the Mack snow. I've seen many pics of Mack snows that have this bags and I was wondering if they are just prone to have them.

My male mack snow got them one day and 3 days later they were gone. I hadn't changed his diet or anything but it went away.

funny you posted this, I just found my mack snow with armpit bags yesterday.... I think they may be more prone to them as everyone else gets to eat exactly what she eats... Hmmmm

Both of my geckos get these. I find when I use less calcium on their food they start to go away. I have two trempers.

Those armit bags are stored excess calcium-rich lymphatic fluid from the lymph glands around their armpits, and are nothing to worry about. It is common in females this time of year as they store excess calcium to prepare for breeding season. If it worries you, cut down on thier supplementation.

Ok thanks, I know it's nothing to worry about, I just wondered if Macks were more likely to devolop them as any of my other geckos had.

It's funny because I saw some pics of Mack snow Bells with armpit bags and thought "They looks so unsightly, I'm lucky my MSB doesn't have them" and a few days later... Voila :main_laugh:
