i just started trying to breed crickets, i have 2 large plastic containers, and in one i have put a small container with compost in, i was hoping that some eggs would be laid in there but after 2 days the whole of the main container is littered with these little tiny things as shown in the photo.
Are these eggs? and if so should i scoop them up and put them in some soil? or are they cricket poo lol
thanks
also this is my setup:
im hoping that the crickets will lay their eggs in the small container with soil in the top right corner and then i can move the small container to another large container and let the pinheads hatch.
is this the best way? i have seen some setups on youtube where the entire large box is bedded with compost and the eggs are laid everywhere, but then how do you get all the adults out of there, would be a pain in the ass right?
