aspen crumble bedding

Hi,


I am new here but am on another gecko forum as well. Does anyone else use this stuff? Anyhow I am using this aspen crumble bedding stuff the local pet store recomended anyhow just a little bit ago my gecko ate a piece of this stuff but I read on the bag that if accidentally ingested it will not interfere with the digestive process. What do you suggest me to do? should I continue using it and dont worry or should I change to like indoor outdoor carpet? anyhow thanks just am curious about this........shaun

I just use paper towels for all of my leos. They are cheap, easy to clean regularly, and they pose no threat of impaction. I don't like any substrate that my little guys can ingest, it's just not worth it. JMHO.

Thanks, I am leaning more towards removing it even though it looks nice I may just use some paper towels or slate or the carpet. The health of the Gecko is worth more then the looks of the cage........Shaun
