Aspen?

I saw some pictures of a leo rack on another site and the guy used aspen as a substrate for them. All of the leos did look pretty healthy though and I actually kinda liked the way it looked in the tub instead of using plain paper towel or shelf liner.

I just wanted to know if anyone here has ever used aspen for their leos and is it dangerous like sand?
