At what age should 2 males be separated?

Ok i have two 6 month old fat tails and i am not 100% sure if they are male or female yet, if they are both male i will obviously be separating them so that they dont fight but i want to know at what age should i start worrying about them fighting if they are both male? As of right now they seem to be best of friends and even though they have 5 hides about 95% of the time they are laying side by side in a hide together. So when should i start to worry about fighting between them? also i will get some god pictures up so maybe we can determine if they are male or female lol thanks

If you can determine the sex of them it would be handy and you can seperate them now, but if not you will have to check extensively and not wait for one if they are both male to get beaten up.
If you suspect anything seperate.

you can tell fat tails sexes pretty early, i knew my 8 gram male was a male already even from being that small you can see it clearly
