While I was on the 45min. drive to swap Fred for Chico, wifey dumped the bedding and replaced it with paper towel. Now there is a hot and cold hide and water dish...That's it, keeping it simple for now!

Do you need a calcium dish if you shake and bake the crickets? And we are going to add a moist hide because I do believe he's going to shed soon. Most likely add that today after my son's birthday party.

But I think I did a pretty good job Chico is soooo beautiful!! I'm so glad we didn't risk the changes with Fred, he just looked very sickly

it's good to keep a calcium dish in with them all the time so they can get what they need (even if you do shake and bake).

Did you sanitize the tank before adding the new one in there?

yes i washed it all out and scrbbed the glass. Can they get too much calcium?
