I was wondering what can cause a hatchling to have shorter tails than others? I have seen some vendors selling them for much cheaper than the regulars. Are these guys breedable?

I saw an APTOR het RAPTOR with a short tail that was sold for super cheap and wanted to know if this would be something to avoid or not.

I would avoid it the same way geckos with kinked tails and curly tails are avoided. There's nothing wrong with their ability to breed - but it's a deformity and not something that most breeders want spreading around in the gene pool.

Not too short. About 20% to 30% shorter than normal. I didn't know you could pass on the deformity if they bred. That's good know.

How short compared to normal tail length?

Good question! LOL I was just assuming that he's talking about turnip tails. From what I've seen, turnip tails start out looking like a normal tail, only 1/2 the length. As they age and get fatter they aquire the "turnip" look.

No one knows (I don't think) ... but I don't want to be the one to find out!

I'm sorry but that paradox leo doesn't look healthy at all. First, I wouldn't buy it. Second, who would want to breed it?

But that's just me.:D
