They're here!
I ordered a batch of small dubia from Roachesrus on Tuesday. They arrived on Thursday, none dead, all tiny and skittering! I didn't realize they started out so small! That's ok though. My colony doesn't seem to be breeding or giving birth yet and I have some hungry geckos on hand. I'm gonna let them grow to food size and then watch the noms.
Just because I think their temps are too low, I switched out their heating pad for a larger one. Hopefully this will kick those fat females into gear. Also I started grinding their food instead of leaving the kitten kibble whole. Maybe I'll pick up an orange at the store today. I hear that works miracles with the roaches.
