I caught a baby house gecko today and was wondering what would be best to feed it? im not sur eon the species yet, but from pictures I have found I think it may be a Hemidactylus frenatus. would flightless fruit flies be ok for one about and inch long?

At that size, they can start right away on larger fruitflies like D. hydei or pinhead crickets. Be sure to dust regularly with calcium/vitamin product.

Unfortunately, the little guy didn't make it. He was to far gone with exposure to all the harsh chemicals we use around the shop. He did eat a few fruit flies before he passed though. Lasted only a couple of nights.
