Im not a vet so couldnt say. juveniles are very transparent so it could just be the internals you're seeing through the belly, such as the liver. it could also be a meal if its eating and a number of other things. sorry its not much help.

If youve only had it 8 days then probs might not shed, its not something to worry about. she/he will shed when ready.
seen as you having had him/her for long at all, they do go through a settling in stage which is animal dependent. it can take a few days to months to settle in to the new sights, sounds and smells of the new home. i would put off handling for a few weeks to let this process take its course. just keep offering food, water and cleaning out as needed.

I have a few recommendations on your set up: your tank does not need the heat lamp, 75 watt is too much and will cause heat stress. I would recommend that you remove it and stick to just the UHT, which is better for the gecko.

i would also switch to a powder calcium/vit mix not because liquid is bad but so that its easier for you to monitor that the geckos are taking it. make sure the mix contains vit D3, sprinkle on the feeder insects a few times a week and leave some in a dish in the cage.

Mealworms in a dish is good but don't leave crickets in the cages with the geckos all the time as they can bite your gecko and cause big problems, not to mention stress them out by walking all over them etc.
only drop in enough that your gecko will eat within a few minutes then remove any left over. alternatively put in one, then once thats been eaten add another.

I would research a local herp vet and book a check up appointment and a parasite test to be sure theres nothing going on. I would also stop handling and keep an eye on the lil one for now, watch for feeding and popping in the mean time.

good luck and keep us posted :)

That doesn't look totally normal but like Sausage said it could be the position or a meal or something making it look strange. I'd follow the recommendations above. I believe that Flukers Calcium killed one of my geckos last season and refuse to use any of their products. Aside from that, many geckos don't drink water from their bowls and can get most of what they need from their food and condensation so dusting is a much better method. Your heat also needs to be adjusted to make sure your not cooking your gecko. 75W on a small glass aquarium like a 10-20 gallon is almost certainly far too much unless your house is really cold. If the gecko isn't eating or acting normally I might head to a vet like suggested. Parasites are very common especially in pet store geckos.
